We are here with the champ, Iron Mike Tyson. Yes, this is Iron Mike. Yes, sir. At the Undisputed Truth. Yes, in the Bradley Garrett Theater. When did you like kind of figure out that your life was like a comedy?

Mike Tyson's

Well, listen, I didn't think it was a comedy. I just thought it was a show like Chuck Palminteri. My anticipation of Mike was going to be gritty like kids, hard and tough. People would be like, oh, shit. They looked at me and I was this angry person. Mike, you got to read the whole records, Mike. Look at them. What you do here trying to accomplish what these guys trying to accomplish. If you're not willing to endure the million pain these guys endure. We never hear anymore about the guys that knocked them out early in their career. Now, why Mike? Now, why? Cuz at one point, somebody knocked them out, Mike. But they quit. But these men you're reading about, these champions, they never quit. They never got discouraged. Talking about not having a good life. I don't know who my father is. These people are laughing. I was like, fuck. People are cruel. Vicious. It's a cold world out here. But the coldness of the world is the most funniest asset of the world.

Young Hollywood

Absolutely. And you have great stories.

Mike Tyson's

Yeah, I have some stories that my wife wrote in. It happened to me with these um with some Ice's numbers and then with this guy that was the base line shooter in Phoenix. He was a sports writer, boxing writer. And then he would go hunt people and start shooting them. And so the FBI yeah, um, yeah. So the FBI came to my gym and they came to me and I didn't know. I said, whoa, what the hell happened? What did I do? Did I go out? Did I have an altercation with someone? What the hell happened? And the guy had the picture of me and the guy because he took a picture, he had a gun there. You got it. So you're associated. Yeah, but they said I said, did I do anything wrong to the guy? And he said, no, Mr. Tyson. He liked you. He didn't like the 15 people that he shot and the 12 that he killed. I said, whoa.

Young Hollywood

What's beautiful in your life right now?

Mike Tyson's

Peace. It doesn't last long because I have one of the ever work in my mind never stops working.

Young Hollywood

Is that why you're always working? You're jumping into so many different

Mike Tyson's

I'm always working cuz I have a lot of bills to pay. I'm always working. I have a lot of kids and stuff. But um, I really just love doing this though. I don't know. I used to think it's just um, a family business to Undisputed Truth. And that's why the other guys, their demons are following forever, Mike. Cuz they had a chance to face their demons and they didn't. No, they didn't. You have to face your demons. You hear me, Mike? Cuz if you don't they'll follow you to eternity. And you remember, Mike, to be careful how you fight your fight because the way you fight your fights will be the way you live your life. Did I never quit again?

Young Hollywood

Has anyone come like any of your friends like, Mike, you had to tell that story. I didn't want that out there.

Mike Tyson's

Uh yeah, some stories are good. We wanted to go outside other people too. We were considering um doing other people's Undisputed Truth.

Young Hollywood

So branching out? Evander Holyfield maybe?

Mike Tyson's

Well, I I was going to much, you know, he's a very mild guy. So I was going to more more times on a Dennis Rodman type. But the guy'd be honest. Got you. They can't be afraid. Hey, yeah, this is the some hot guy he was. He gave me Veneria disease. So he can get, you know, so we got to be honest with ourselves.

Young Hollywood

Is it Is it comfortable for you to be honest with the crowd? Or is it was it hard for you to break out of your shell and you know, just talk about yourself?

Mike Tyson's

No, no, it's very easy because there's people out there that were with me. They understand these stories. So if any of these stories are bogus, they'll be the first ones to come out. Pull you out. Yeah.

Young Hollywood

Mike, it's been an absolute pleasure. Thank you guys for having me. Thank you so much. Your show was amazing.
