George Lopez's Golf Tourney Scores a Hole-In-One for a Good Cause

I work at the game and I play every day, so, uh, you know, some days good, some days not so good. Mr. Anthony Anderson, you are a hoot. We've spent all morning with you and I'm like in love with you now. You should be. You should wanna bear my children.

I need the tax write-offs. Um, but yeah, no, it's fun. You know, this event is always a good event. Do you get ready for the course? Do you have a specific wardrobe when it comes to hitting the course? Well, you know, I always try to remain colorful, but next to Anthony, I look like a mortician. Why don't you go shopping with him? Because I would love to see you in pink. That, you know, he gets that stuff for free. I mean, all day, nobody pays for that. Actually, John Daly sends me, uh, the clothes that he doesn't wanna wear. What are some pre-golf rituals for yourself? Well, I took half a Vicodin, so that was the first one. Yum.

And then, uh, a little water and a cigar and then some margaritas when I get out there. I I work a lot on my pre-shot routine. What you do before you get to the ball. Don't just get up there and hit it. Yeah. It's how you get into that shot is extremely important. A lot of praying, I don't know if that You have a ball in your hand too. I do. Uh, it's a nervous tick, probably. I don't know. I, uh, I'm not that not that strong a golfer. So, uh, we'll see what happens. But you came all swagged out. You look like it. I It's fake it till you make it, right? Perception is reality and I believe in you. Exactly.

As far as everybody else is, I right now I'm walking around like cock of the walk, intimidating everybody. As soon as I hit that first ball and it goes off into the woods, then then the cat's out of the bag. But until then, I'm enjoying this part of it. If you had a golf nickname, like a Tiger Woods or a Bubba Watson, if you had a stage name for the golf course, what would it be? Slow and steady. Thunder wiggle. I'm just gonna say fat Cashus. Yes. Yeah, big stick off the T. Maybe big stick. So many meanings with that. Go low. Go low, Roberto. Oh, that is sexy. You know what I'm saying? I think you like that. I think I like that. That's new. Um, I gotta give him that. Um, he does, you know, I've known him for a long time. It's been very, uh, very giving in his life. He will give you the shirt off his back. And and I love what he's doing with, uh, his foundation. The Lopez Foundation. Uh, it does amazing work. I mean, it supports everything that I care about, which is helping kids, uh, uh, helping veterans. I'm a veteran, uh, helping their families, organ donation. The the Lopez Foundation covers so many wonderful things and they just happen to be things that I genuinely care about. So, I'm I'm just honored to be here and help support any way I can. Who would be on your dream team on the course?

Uh, my dream team would be, obviously, you got to have Arnold Palmer and Jack Nicklaus. Kenny G. Oh, yeah. Because he's a scratch player. Tiger. Yeah. I mean, come on. Sam Jackson is definitely gonna have to be a part of the foursome because we always have a lot of fun together. I would take Tiger Woods in 2000. It's because when you cuz the Tiger Woods of today, I'm not so sure. Michelle Yeoh. 'Cause she's like a badass and a babe and it would be very inspiring. Halle Berry would have to be somewhere there. I don't know if she'd be just in the cart or if she'd be one of my partners or what. So she'd be there for sure. Best answer we've received so far.

Most honest answer you've received so far. Probably everybody else is like, oh, Jack Nicklaus and Tiger Woods and No, no, no, no. We got Halle Berry for sure. You know, I've played with, uh, Justin Timberlake and I've played with, uh, I haven't played with Bieber yet, but, you know, those those guys. That's I feel like when when Bieber happens, can can I be there? Yes. Yes. Thank you. We have it on camera. Yes. Come on, Biebs. Let's go out there, man. I play with my my boys a lot. And to me, that's by far the most fun that I have. Chris Rock. Just make us laugh the whole way. Because you're gonna be out for four or five hours.
