Hey, I'm Joe Willman with Young Hollywood. We're here on the field at Dodger Stadium. We're gonna check out the Dodger's All-Star game. We're here with James Van Der Beek.

Did you have your Weetix today? I uh, I had breakfast this morning. I've been training for this all my life. But now I get to play at Dodger Stadium, so life is unfair, kid. Uh, yeah, I'm excited that they brought the fence in for, cuz this is where it feels like it's a little kids game. Today is all about doing a good thing for charity and standing on the field. Chavez Ravine. Come on. Doesn't get any better than this.

Are you ready to play today? I'm ready to play. Yeah, it's it's really great. It's a great event. You know, I as a fan, I'm always sitting right there in section 153. I was in Vancouver at 6:30 this morning. I wrapped at 4:20. I was up all night, got on a plane, came here to play and I'm going back at 6:00 in the morning. So I didn't go to bed last night. That tells you how much I like this event.

What was it like getting to first base?

Um, it happened last week and it was fuck no. I I remember it was uh, I remember the girl's name. It was seventh grade. Uh, it was my first sort of real kiss and uh, I remember getting into the car because my dad picked me up at the dance. I said, Dad, I'm a man today. Her name was Shannon Shakespeare. It was embarrassing because it was with my cousin. And don't ask me don't ever ask me You know what it was with my cousin. Like a second cousin. You know there's some rednecks going.
