Inside my heart there's an emptiness. A heavy hate on our our mind. Um, these guys they've known each other for a long time. Um, and I met them about five years ago. Uh, I was just playing acoustic at this bar in New York City and they happened to be there and they were looking for a singer and came up to me afterwards and said, "Hey, let's let's jam. We're we're looking for a guy." And um it was just instant chemistry and we uh we clicked immediately and became best friends first and bandmates second. Is this the low or is this the high? Just let it go and enjoy the ride. Hey, my name is Andy Tonran and I sing and play guitar for Young Rising Sons. What's up? I'm Julian, I play bass.
What's up? I'm Steve Patrick, I play drums. What's going on young Hollywood? I'm Dylan. I play guitar in Young Rising Sons and welcome to our backstage diary. Uh just got to the pre-dor in California, Los Angeles and we're unloading some stuff. Running on like three hours of sleep right now, but uh we're we're pushing through it. So it should be fun. Um if we could relive any show we played, um for me it would be Denver on this last tour actually. Um the the crowd there was just amazing. They knew everything. They knew all the words. I've All right, so we get asked a lot about high and all of our songs kind of having more of an optimistic feel.
Uh and I think it for us, we just want to cover, you know, the highs and the lows of everything and that's really what high is all about. The key to hyping up the crowd is just relaying our message to them. So long as we're having a good time, I think everybody else is going to have a good time. Yeah, it should be cool. Ooh. What's love got to do got to Thank you. Uh the best piece of advice a musician has given me is just stick to what you do and just stay persistent. Don't give up because the moment you feel like you're going to give up then that's when it's just downhill from there. We actually all got sons tattoos pretty recently too. We've been talking about doing it for a long time.
Yeah, we did it in Jersey. Yeah, where we're from. So we did it. Now it's a part of us forever. Yeah. Yeah. We're Young Rising Sons. Thank you so much for coming on our backstage diary.
