Welcome to YoungHollywood. com.
I'm Austin from Hinder. We've all been drinking vodka all day long and we really appreciate you guys stopping by and checking out Young Hollywood.
Right now, you're one of the hottest rock and roll bands in our time. What is the definition of rock and roll?
Chicks, booze, and fun. Yeah, fun's the main rock. How about that? Rock and roll should be fun.
And you guys have a new album coming out, but you've already released your first single. How are the fans responding to it?
Yeah, the single has done very well at rock radio. Uh, Use Me. And uh, we just released uh, Without You. Through the, the radio and it's, you know, iTunes is eating it up.
What's the craziest thing a fan has ever said or done to you guys on the road?
There's this chick that uh, came through the line to, you know, get autographs or whatever and she actually brought up her removed breast implant. Old yeah, her old. Yeah, we got to sign that. During a show, a guy threw up his, uh, prosthetic leg. Literally, he's in the front row holding it up and Austin Austin grabbed it and was getting ready to hit me across the face with it. Which wouldn't have been ideal. Well, not for me. Uh, but I decided to take it and I poured my drink in and took a shot. He's got the leg and he's he has his drink in it, his vodka in it, and he's swirling it around like this, this stuff. In the crowd. And all kinds of stuff. In all the funk. All the funk in it in the little holder. He he swirls his vodka in it, gets all the funk out of there and shoots it and like we're all about to throw up. Yeah, I'm about to puke right now and I'm trapped. That guy rocked by the way. He was cool.
Let's talk about the softer side of you guys. Is there anything really romantic you've ever done for a woman in your life?
Mr. Romance. Alright, look at this. Look, my girl she likes daisies, right? Take it Mr. Romance. I said, so I go to all the flower shops in my hometown, Oklahoma City. And I get all the daisies. I pull them off the stems, throw them in the bathtub and yada yada. I I get her drunk, we go to bed, she comes back and then she looks and there's candles lit and daisies in the bathtub. She started crying and Oh, and I got a tattoo on her arm. That was so romantic. In the meantime, I'm married. so and a little more romantic.
Do you remember any of the first rock concerts that you ever went to growing up?
Uh, my first one was actually the Beach Boys.
Wow.
Yeah. The Iner Stadium. Iner Stadium. Iner Stadium.
You were playing working the popcorn stand.
I was. I was. I remember that. One, two, three. What's up, Young Hollywood? There's Hinder in Young Hollywood. Young Hollywood, saying hi, how you doing? Hinder. Where's the Jagermeister?
