Welcome to younghollywood. com. I'm Joe Wilderman and today we are crashing the pad of a band called A Cursive Memory.

Hey. What's going on? Hanging out, playing some Call of Duty, Xbox live, no big deal. I'm about to kill you, calling you going down.

You guys have a video that just took everyone by storm. How did you get the idea?

We wanted to do something new, fresh, that no one had seen before. Like we just, I think we all at the same moment just like had this like epiphany. And first night we went out we got like Kim Kardashian and Steve-O. We just waited outside the clubs and waited for them like celebrities to walk out. And then we did, we were among the paparazzi bombarding them and nobody really knew what we were doing though. We were able to do it because we would sync up the tape and like, the first time we got behind Paris, so we would just hit play and then I would mouth whatever part it was at.

You've sort of taken the title as band-arazzi.

What we were doing is we were half band, half paparazzi.

How would you find out where people were? How do you become paparazzi?

Okay, we know where all these hot spots are. First night we knew where to go. The more we got into the project, we started to make friends with the paparazzi. They would like tip us and we would tip them. A lot of times like it wouldn't just be tips. You're out in LA and they just sort of like fall in your lap.

What do you feel about paparazzi?

The way I look at it is like we didn't add to any of that chaos. Like when we got Britney Spears in our video, she was laughing, she was having fun, and it was like obvious like that we weren't like bombarding her. If a celebrity obviously didn't want us in the video, then we wouldn't put them in the video.

What celebrity did you get the best response from or who was your very favorite?

I asked Sug Knight for a high-five and he goes alright, Shawn. Like that. I slapped his face. Sug Knight punches his hand. P. Diddy's bodyguard actually uh, slapped Shawn in the face. Or it's more of like a push than anything. Yeah. It's one of those.

The biggest celebrity in your video.

I think like the most respected would probably be Tobey Maguire. He's like Spider-Man. He's like a pretty big deal. Place some video games. You're my E. V. E. R. Y. T. H. I. N. G.
