Music Video In Progress: We The Kings "Heaven Can Wait"

About this video
It’s about time somebody adds a bit of rock’n’roll to a sedated dog show. That’s just what We The Kings is doing on the set of the music video shoot for their single, “Heaven Can Wait.” It’s just another day as the band hangs out on set with fans, friends, and a Basset Hound named Red Eyes. Life and actual thing with the star of Young Hollywood.
Hey, what's up, Young Hollywood? We are We The Kings, and we are getting ready to take you on a candid backstage little tour of the video shoot for Haven Can't Wait. Let's go.
Before you miss out one of our youngest stars. Mr. Adam Covert. Allen. Allen. Covert.
This uh my name is Allen as well. Travis. I know, my name is Travis. Let's roll. Let's let's continue backstage. So, we're in our backstage area of our video shoot for Haven Can't Wait. I'm drinking some coffee cuz I'm trying to stay awake since we've been up so early. Yeah. And uh we have some uh people that are in the video and uh a tour manager. There's uh more exciting stuff over at the actual set. So, these are all friends. Friends say hi.
Hey!
That was where there used to be tons of Chinese food, but now it's all demolished. We're walking into the set of the music video. This is where we will show our dogs. This is where a judge will come and crown the victor first place. And you know, I personally hope that it will be me. It might not be. I will I will be a good sport. But this is uh that's also where we performed. We were able to multitask this entire place into like seven different settings. So, it's um it's really cool. This our director, the Mr. Nick Goossen.
Hello.
He is uh the brains behind the project. What are we getting ready to do?
Right now, we are setting up for the actual dog show in our dog show music video. So, so after this is when we will actually crown the winner. We are in Los Angeles, and we've had a bunch of uh friends and fans come out and uh they are stowed away in a room like captives uh waiting for their big, uh you know, debut. So, uh we'll move on to Drew. Drew, what's your favorite part about the uh music video so far?
All the cool dogs around, man.
What's your favorite dog?
Basset Hound.
What's his name?
Red Eyes.
What is your favorite part of the music video so far?
I say my uh favorite part was the lead solo 'cause it was so rocking in the song.
Did you do the knee slide that we were talking about?
No, unfortunately, I uh they were afraid that I was gonna run into the camera. It would have been it would have been way too rock, right? It would have been like 40,000 for damage.
Hey, what's your favorite part of the video so far?
When Hunter does his knee slide.
He just said he didn't do it. Oh. He said it would have cost 40,000 in damage. Danny.
So, this is Travis from We The Kings, and I wanna thank Young Hollywood for coming and hanging out with us backstage at our video shoot. I hope you enjoy it. We love you. Goodbye.
