Yeah, that's right. You know, I did my research.

Yeah, you get it a lot?

Yeah.

Well good girls do go bad and I know a lot of girls that have done that but hearing your song on the radio all the time how does it feel?

Well, we don't have cars because we live in Manhattan or Brooklyn and so um they don't play the radio on the subway. So we don't know what it feels like.

Tell me what your definition is of a Cobra Starship?

E equals MC wasted. I believe it's defined by this right here.

Did you really get attacked by a Cobra?

No, I did not get attacked by him. He just visited me from the future and he talked to me about my life.

Attack has such a negative connotation.

Yeah, he wasn't attacked. He he you know it's like listen, the best the best teachers don't teach, you know.

True.

They kind of beat you into submission until you learn your lesson. Look at me Yogi. He did the same thing.

I really love the title of your album too. Hot Mess. You're a hot mess, aren't you?

Do you know that the cover of our album yes. The cover of our album is a girl that has Hot Mess tattooed on her lips right? A lot of people think we wrote that in pen but we actually tattooed that on her face.

For real?

If you look closely if you look closely you can see the blood under the H. But she did it just before the photoshoot right? So there was like still blood. It was going to be called Hot Messiah but there wasn't enough room on her lips.

How do you feel about that?

Um I actually my initial idea was that it would be called Hot Meth but um the guy at the printing plant had a speech impediment so they didn't think that.

Doesn't work.

Yeah. The point is the record's done. It's in the can and we're very happy about it.

Any cool collaborations? Lil Wayne or anything like that?

Yeah a couple. No Lil Wayne I wish Weezy was not on there but uh we did have Kevin Rudolph which is kind of like 2 degrees away from Lil Weezy.

Only one degree.

Only one degree? Yeah, I mean it kinda it's like transitive property like a squared plus b squared no that's Pythagorean theorem. I don't remember transitive property but all I know is that if we worked with Kevin Rudolph and Weezy worked with Kevin Rudolph henceforth we worked with Weezy.

You still did it right? What's it like being on tour with these guys?

Fantastic. I mean.

You share you share the tour bus. Tell me do you sleep? Top bunk, bottom bunk? What is that?

Uh middle bunk. The middle one's perfect.

How do you deal with the odor?

I know. Dev just fine.

Just fine? Who is the smelliest member of Cobra Starship? There's four guys next to you guys. Do you want me to make up one?

I'm fine. Made up one. Ryland. Sure. That's not made up. That's real. Hold on. Hold on. I'm doing an interview now. Ryland how do you feel about being the smelliest member of Cobra Starship according to Victoria Asher? If you had to kick someone off the bus on tour who's the first person you want to kick out?

Gabe. Definitely. Obviously. Duh.

You know what I heard you got a clothing line coming out? Tell me about that.

It's like I want to inspire people that want to go to fashion school but can't afford it. It's like you don't need to go to school. Get a scholarship.

Hey what's up with Cobra Starship?

And right here is a basket full of flip-flops. That's me. Our drummer Nate today does not even have socks. He has to borrow my socks. This is a real story. So this basket is for him and I want to thank all of our fans who have supported us over the years and made this basket of flip-flops possible for Nate.

Is this a dream come true for you?

I have shoes on by default. So this is yeah like this is a total dream come true. You know and they have like a big heel. So like I you guys are way taller. So I can like kinda catch up. With socks on still so.

So Nate, can you say something to all your fans who helped you get the flip-flops of your dreams today?

To help me? Well I mean you know if you're in Cobra Starship and fans support you like I'm the guy who would know who you are. Michelle may not know who you are. I would have a goody bag full of flip-flops. Say thank you to everybody. I really appreciate it. Thank you everybody.

Yo is being Cobra Starship being kind of like on a roller coaster?

Big time. It kind of sucks sometimes but usually it's awesome. It doesn't I don't know if it's ever. It never sucks.

Yo what about the time when you first joined Cobra Starship and you were the first member of Cobra Starship and you went to my house in the ghetto of Jersey City and you drove up in Milan and you were living there for three days and your car got stolen? That sucked?

What was I not laughing when I called you?

Yeah, yeah. I was laughing. True story. You didn't hit me. First number of Cobra Starship. Living in my house after three days his car got stolen. Did he go crying like a baby to Atlanta? No. He stayed Cobra Starship. Now he's got a basket of flip-flops.
