Camp Freddy

Now, we're going to be going backstage with the one and only Camp Freddy.

They're a unique blend of musicians that you probably already know.

And tonight, they are going to feature Dave Navarro, Johnny Fever, Slash, Billy Morrison, and Matt Sorum.

After their rocking performance, we're going to party with them and all the groupies until sunrise at the world-famous Light at the Bellagio Hotel.

Now you're going to get to see how rockstars tear it up, because you're going to be getting VIP access with Camp Freddy.

here with Camp Freddy who's scheduled to perform here in about uh, an hour or two.

And uh, wanna know a little bit about the band, what gets you guys started?

So what makes a strip club the ultimate strip club?

What got started?

Um, Donovan was, was opening a hotel.

What makes this the ultimate strip?

Any strip club too.

What makes the best strip club?

Rolling strip clubs are synonymous.

He rang us up and thought it would be a good idea to do a show and we called Dave, and we called Matt.

Dancing girls, a bar.

It's in in rock and roll music and like, you know, a PA.

So it's like what else could you ask for?

That we just didn't rehearse, we went down and did six songs and everyone loved it.

I'm here with Scott Shriner from Weezer and uh, actually he's come out to uh, join the festivities.

Had to come all the way from Los Angeles to see uh Camp Freddy play.

You never know what the songs are going to be, but you know it's going to be great.

So Don, do you have other performances with Camp Freddy or is tonight gonna be the only one?

What's the plan?

Don, I've done two other ones and there's this one and we're doing another one on Monday.

You're never gonna see the same Camp Freddy show twice.

I'm I'm opening the world's largest gentlemen's club."

So she sees the show and like, "Oh my God."

There's no organization.

There's no planning.

Yeah, we don't know what we're doing.

Well, uh, I hooked up with these guys a while ago back in Los Angeles.

I jumped on stage with them and now I've become part of the band.

It it really is fun.

There's no managers, there's no agents, there's no nothing.

It's a real good time.

And what I'm going to do is known as fighting fire with fire.

I'm gonna be up there with Slash.

And what are you planning on going to sleep since you are in Vegas?

Oh, I don't plan on going to sleep.

How do you guys pick the songs?

Well, we're kind of doing like everything that we love.

Zeppelin.

The Stones.

We're gonna do a little number from the Zep Led Zep.

The Zep.

And uh, you know, I'm gonna do, I'm gonna do what I do, what I do best.

There's a lot of bands out there today that call themselves rock bands.

You know, like you see like, you know, like, you know, on the cover of Rolling Stone, they had the women in rock and then they had like Alicia Keys and J-Lo.

You know, excuse me.

Joan Jett, there's a woman in rock.

If J-Lo wants to come and play some rock.
