Tell us a little about what happened today.

Today, we had a big press conference. I wanted to bring everybody in the room. We live streamed from the Beverly Hills Hotel in LA Grammy Week. You know, I wanted to announce the name of my album. And everything top secret. You know, the keys. You know what I'm saying? We got to keep it off the record. But at the same time, I also wanted to say thank you. And I wanted to thank y'all. And that's why one of the reasons why I brought you in this room to thank y'all face to face because I know everybody's watching. The whole world's watching and listening at one time. Young Hollywood, all the hard, you know, reporters, media. Really, thank everybody, man. Like, you know, we're so busy hustling and so busy working. And so busy, you know, providing for our families, you know, sometimes we have to take a moment and embrace the blessings and say thank you. I want to thank all of y'all. So y'all give yourselves a round of applause. And coming in a fly suit. And feeling good. You know what I'm saying? Like

The executive producer is my son. And by the way, my son, Aas-Kaat, is the executive producer of my album. I'm very about that. He signed it off on everything with LA Reid. Our biggest blessing, my best friend. He's part of the whole project. We've been going over rollout. We went over this press conference. He might be young, but he really is very intelligent, smart, and responsive of everything when I talk to him. Right. You know what I'm saying? And I want him to embrace this greatness at an early age. And when he grows, because that's how my family raised me. They brought me around their work and their family and, you know what I mean, let me see things and, you know, see that, you know, hard work and when you grow up like that, you appreciate it and you become somebody, you know, that works hard for their family. One day, my son's going to have a family. Right. Yeah. One day he's going to take care of me, you know what I'm saying? So like, you know, support, man. And and and, you know, with the title, I think it's very appropriate that he be the boss of this album. So the title of my new album coming out this year. My best work ever on my mama and on my son and on everything I love. The title is Grateful.

Give us some of the reactions he was giving you with his face. Just expressions. When you were when you played him songs on this album or even when you came up with the album. He does Give us a little bit.

He does he does smiles. He does uh giggles. He does he makes his little baby noise and then sometimes he gets the serious face. Oh. And the serious face be on the the certain hard records. Like he'd be like and then he hit you with the

I think the point of view that that he's made clear and been able to really translate to people is the power of love. The power of believing and the power of dreaming. We We won already because we've been nominated. But But But if we get the trophy, I can tell you this, it would be the most legendary speech in Grammy history. Yeah. I promise you that because I can't tell you at this moment 'cause it's gonna come from my heart. You know what I'm saying? But it's gonna be the most legendary. Yeah. Like legendary. Historic.
