Yo, what's up? My name is T Mills and you're watching here on Hollywood Backstage Diaries. We're backstage right now, and if I was writing a diary, you would be the notebook and I would be the pen. Cause I like naughty girls and party girls. If you came here to drink, don't worry, girl, I'm have drink in the mini bar. Let's fill these cups. Yeah, baby. Just have a good time. Just have a good time. Yeah, baby. Oh, you know, I got the all white. I call it the snow day. AKA the Parliament light. I don't know, I just feel really bright today. Just gonna be a good day. The key to hyping up the crowd, I would say it's all about fan interaction, man.
If you connect with people and you could really like look 'em in their eyes and tell them to do something, and they do it, that's that's energy. That's connection. That's what allows me to make a whole venue like put all their hands up in the air, you know what I mean? The writing on my knuckles says patience. I got this tattoo when I was 18 years old, because I am not patient. Patience is something I don't have. Uh, I think it's a virtue. And it just reminds me to to kind of slow down and, you know, take it a day at a time when I look at my hands. And above that, it says, "Won't quit." Just a little ode to my determination.
And then the bottom knuckle say "timeless" because I feel like I wanna make classic. I wonder if this is gonna fit. Is this a large? This is gonna It's probably too small. Really? Look at it. I Yeah, I just started wearing X Ls. I'm picky about clothes, man. So like, I love clothes. That's like my addiction. That's like what I spend all my time with. That's when I'm on tour and I go to cities, like, I go out there and see what I can find that I can't get at home. I'm very fortunate to have a lot of friends that like to make really cool clothes and a lot of cool brands that I'm friends with. So, yeah, man, I always get taken care of and I love it. How I keep the balance.
I feel like it really all starts in your mind, man. And like, you have to you have to know like what you're setting out to achieve before you just try to achieve something. You have to keep your goals in mind and, you know, you have to stay focused. Compromise is the perfect word that I'll use for this. If I know that I could do something like really crazy the next day, I might take it easy that night and then just go hard when all my stuff is done. And yeah, I want to be consistent, man. That's that's a big thing about work is is you need consistent work and and you can never be off. If I could compare my music to a bag of potato chips, I would have to say kettle jalapeño potato chips.
Just because they're delicious and they also got a little kick to them, and I feel like I'm kind of spicy. My advice to up-and-coming musicians would be to not sign anything that you're not sure of. Definitely have legal advice before signing anything. And also, like, you don't need anybody to do it for you, you know what I mean? Like, we're in the digital age right now, the age of technology, to where, you know, anyone all over the world can record a song in their bedroom, on their MacBook, upload it to SoundCloud and YouTube and and Facebook and Bandpage, and literally gain millions of fans. So, don't wait for anyone to do anything for you. You just have to do it.
It's just have a good time. Just have a good time. Yeah, baby. Yo, what's up? I'm T Mills and you just witnessed life backstage with me on my All I Wanna Do tour. Thanks for checking it out. Peace.
