I honestly I don't remember. I think because you've been up to a lot since in the two years. But, um, that was my first young Hollywood interview with, you know? Yeah. When the whole period of because I was new, Like, new new

Well, we are excited. We're gonna talk to you about music, talk about your life and just trying to catch up with you.

Okay, So you have Summer's over, you have a single coming out. How long did it take for you to write this on? KSI Talks New New Single: Um, it was actually one of my favorite songs to write. Um, it was like probably about a day or two. I'd say it's, um, Ryan songs. It's not too hard. It's I guess, the hardest part is making sure it's, um It just sounds good. Yeah, but yeah. No, this this is definitely a song that I've made from the heart, and it kind of just Yeah, it's taking a while for me to be able to actually release it, but yeah, I feel like it's a good time to do it.

Yeah. Okay, so summer is over. So what would you say was your favorite memory?

My favorite summer memory? Uh, it's got me going to Coachella. I think it was twenty-seventeen twenty-eighteen 2017. Um, I saw Kendrick Kendrick Lamar performing. This is when he released his second, um, last album where he was doing D n A and all these other songs. And I remember just being like this was saying It's amazing. Yeah, like the whole coach experience. And just like being with my friends, that was just like, Yeah, yeah, yeah, I think eventually I want to be able to perform their I'm kind of waiting until I have, like, you know, an album album ready and everything. And I wanted to be like, insane. When I come through. I don't I don't want to just do it for the sake of it. I want it to be special.

Yeah, if you did. You have a song with him?

Uh, you'll be required to be sick. Um, future would be dope as well. Future twenty-one savage bring out and very like I I would love to just bring everyone like i Just when I when I come to America to perform, you know, anywhere I want to make sure each and every time it's special. So, yeah,

And what would you? Okay, so when you are, you kind of got into music like you're doing that. You have done music. We interviewed you two years ago, but what would you say has been so different in the music industry and doing music than your social media YouTube side of things like, What's the difference for you?

Um, I think with the music wise, um, especially in England. Anyway, they've started to like, um, except my music, as in, like before. That was always a bit of a struggle to accept, or there's always the stigma of all your YouTube comment, music, all of this, all of that. So I think now, over the past few years, you know, I've just been making hits, hits, hits and again, you know, top 5 to 10 in the charts. So it's getting to the point where people are excited about my music and are interested in the music I put out. So I think that's what's changed over the years. People. Now, um, it's just really are into my music now, whereas before it was me trying to show everyone improve everyone, I can do music properly.

Yeah, it is a transition that, like when you take someone that's from social media over to music like, Yeah, it's very hard and not many, uh, you can do it.

There's only a very few hours that I've done it properly. Someone like Joji is a perfect example. He was able to do it. Choice of on is another one. You can argue Justin Bieber is another one, and you know it's you know this. This is me trying to think of people on the spot. There isn't that many, you know, like you could literally say, How many there are on your hands? Essentially, yeah, it's one of the hard things that take time, but you know, as long as you're consistent and as long as your you truly want to do well and music and you truly love the are truly enjoy it. Then you know it doesn't really matter. You always gonna do well.

Yeah, And I imagine you wrote summer's over from the heart and all of your music. So when for summer's over, What lyric do you Are you most related to that song? Besides, like all the things you wrote it, But

I mean, all of it, I'd say, um uh I think probably the bridge, the bridge where I I kind of just go into, like, a little full set up, and I just like some random things. Um, I think that is when I'm, like, really, like, pulling my heart out. But it's not like something you can. I mean, you can obviously you can listen Or you can read it if you go on like genius or something to do. You know what I'm saying? But you know, it's not exactly clear, but it's kind of just I know it's kind of just me crying out essentially in that part of the section of the song. Yeah, it's Yeah, it means a lot to me and yeah, It's crazy. A lot of times I've tried to it, man like I don't I don't know like, yeah, it's just It's one of the songs where it's really just really impacted me. And, you know, I was going through a lot of the time when I was writing it, so, you know, to make it and then, you know, even when I teased it to my family, you know, I was going through it still, and then I was trying to decide whether I should want to release this, but, you know, decided I'm doing it. Obviously,

Um, who is one person that you hope? Listen to it.

I mean, I mean, she's already listened to it. Yeah, she's like she every time she listens to it makes her cry. So yeah, yeah, it's a it's a yeah, it's emotional song, but, you know, I feel like people will take their own interpretations from the song. So, you know, some people might think it's a happy song some people might think decides, Um, some people might think it's, you know, that's a song about the summer being over, like, you know, they don't know that there's hidden meaning behind it.

Yeah, And when you when would you say that your most like in your feels to write songs? Or you get the most interesting? Because in the middle of the night, when you first wake up one of you really thinking about it

it's kind of just random. It's just sometimes I'm just getting, you know, the moment hits and I feel like, yeah, I want to just right Sometimes it doesn't have like, it's it's kind of a random, but like that's why I kind of like the position I'm in because I make music when I want to make music, there isn't pressure to just released stuff. You know, all my music is just about my life. So you know, it only makes sense for me to put something out when it makes sense. It's interesting stuff for me. Yeah, it's just a random.

And when we interview the two years ago, we asked you, Do you think that the fight against Logan obviously so much has happened with Logan Prime? But we said, Do you think that might help your music career? What is one thing that's happened since then? Do you think I think that's benefited to making your music, music or even bigger or something like in general that help like that help you along.

I think the music is definitely, you know, increased me being this look increase my how do you know what? No. I feel like the music is definitely helped me as an artist and helped me grow especially. But I think just everything I do in general is always gonna get people interested in my music, whether it's the boxing or whether it's me just posted YouTube videos like, it's just the social aware. This of me is always going to then get people interested in my music because some people might not even know that music. And then listen to this song and going, Oh, I really like this song. And then they realize, Oh, wait, this is Yeah. So it's one of those things where it's, um it just it just happens. Yeah, do everything. So, everyone, you might have a million fans from YouTube. Um, I'm just thinking, like, not much to like about because you do at all. Yeah, yeah, I definitely need calm down a little.

And I was like, Okay, so I was on the on the phone with a friend the other day and I was like, Oh, yeah, I'm interviewing soon just killing them in. And he was like, Oh, wait, Is he a rapper? Singer? So what would you say that you are?

I'm just an honest I'm a guy that I do whatever I want. So if I want to wrap up, if I wanna sing, I will sing. I want to do a bit of both, You know, in the song that I do a bit of both. Like I hate being put in the box for me. That's one of the reasons why I do so many things because I don't want people to be like, Oh, he just does YouTube And that's it. I want people to be like, Oh, he's that guy that just does whatever he wants to do. Yeah, you can do whatever you want to do.

So you just recently had a charity soccer match? Yeah, and our audience loved, you know, there was there. So what? What's one thing about?

No, back that on a personal level, you learn about him from that weekend or something, like we should go back you know, because the nicest person, like one of the nicest person I've ever met, he's always smiling even when he's losing.

Uh, he's a very good football player as well.

And even on the pitch, he was a handful, and he was quite hard to you.

Um, so, yeah, he's got a lot going from And, uh, he's just a nice person as well.

So yeah, messaging each other on instagram And just being like the next time you come to England or if I ever come over the next time I come to America when you just, you know, hit it and just chill him and really, like, enjoy each other's company.

And from the game, would you say overall impressed you the most that you're like, Oh, you're actually really good at soccer or

I think call was part of the whole Mr Bean's group.

He really impressed because, you know, I didn't know that any of them because I actually played football.

So when I saw the call, uh, you know, have ball control and be able to pass and everything I was like, Oh, okay.

Even juggling the ball and I was like, Oh, wow.

Okay, so he really impressed me, but yeah, I think everyone did that.

Everyone play that part in making that pretty much one of the most entertaining.

Pretty much, um, rave reviews, all the all the YouTube comment and everything.

So, yeah, like it was insane.

Like, Yeah, it was just a negative thing.

Yeah, a lot of people watching all the money we raise as well.

And yeah, it was just like even if you're a neutral or if you're someone that doesn't care for football, you'd be entertained by the game because there's always something happening, whether it's scoring goals or scoring goals.

Just doing something crazy where you know, within the referee or giving the referee.

You have to do a charity concert and you can headline and then pick all the artists.

Um, well, I mean, I drink, cry and pretty much every day, but with vodka, I don't actually think anymore, so I kind of just It's just a nice, um It's a declaration, but I love I love how that looks and everything.

And the boys always says I've tasted before, and yeah, it's, you know, it's one of the best way to get out there.

So, um, yeah, I was just having that.

It's always great to, you know, to promote my own products.

For sure.

We've got sides as well, Which is a restaurant restaurant.

Well, it's going to be like a restaurant that you can actually go into, but yeah, we've got exciting things with food waste websites, so yeah,

And with the prime drink, you obviously in business with Logan.

So what would you say is the thing that, um, Logan are the best that when it comes to business together, you're always agree?

Oh, yeah.

I think promotion.

I think we're so good at marketing were very good.

Like we know how to just engage our audience.

And we know how to let them know what's going on, like all the time.

Just be like, okay, new prime flavor.

And then we put out there and it sells out instantly.

And then we go, Okay, Cool.

We'll restart, and it sells out again.

And we just very good at being able to really push out products, you know, for people to want to have it gets to a point where people are just, you know, selling it on the black market or trying to sell it at school and schools having to ban prime just because people are selling it on.

And what would you?

Okay, so you have a million things all the time going on.

What would you say is your favorite video concept that you do online?

Like, you know, you're filming.

It's coming up.

You're like, you're like, Oh, this is so fun.

Like, I always look forward to it.

I think anything sport base, anything.

Um, that gets me active.

I love I love training.

I love playing sports.

Especially football.

Rugby.

Um, golf.

Like whatever.

Uh, yeah, I'd say I'd say anything to do with that.

Or, um I'm trying to think what else?

Anything that we do where we're going abroad.

For example, if we do a holiday video with the side man where it's like $100 100 dollar holiday for us is $100,000 holiday.

Like I love those type of videos because it's always, like, excited to know you're gonna be a good time with the team.

And then if you want a good team, how good is that?

Good.

Do you know what to expect, or how bad is it gonna be?

Yeah, it's always just like an interesting concept.

So, yeah, I'd say I'd say, just like for me, I love just working with Simon.

I'm doing This is because of my friends and my boys, and I've been doing with them for so many years.

So to be able to be in business with them, it's sick.

Do you ever watch the video?

And you're like, Oh, I'm really funny.

And we're really funny, like

No, no, I guess I watched the video, but if I'm in charge of the video or if I just want to watch the video in general.

So, um, for me, like I love watching like the holiday videos, just doing what we can help to.

It's just always super funny, Um, or just any, like, big videos that we do in general, it's Yeah, it's always just entertaining.

But I also just love doing videos in my bedroom where I just go through it, or I do try not to laugh or I do tier list or whatever.

I just random videos.

I just love love, creating hm

and going through what is one you see the most about your music?

That either it's a question that people are always asking or they just want to know, or they come on it when it comes to your music.

I think it's funny, I think, even to this day there's a lot of people who are still very surprised at how good the music is like Oh, I didn't expect to be able to something like this or like this or, you know, make music like this.

I didn't expect him to help on this genre and do well with it.

You know how these cases in the charts all the time.

I was expecting the music on the radio, so Yeah, I I think it's always just people still still disbelief that I'm able to do well with music.

But, you know, I've been doing music 10 plus years.

I've just been going at it over and over and just improving.

And eventually, you know, if you put 10,000 hours into something, you're going to become a master at it.

So I think I'm just getting to the point now where I'm really, like, comfortable where I'm at.

Uh, yeah, I'm happy with it.

It's pretty good feeling when you're starting and, you know, people are like, Oh, he's actually really good.

Well, I mean, I mean, it's a nice bonus, but for me, I just like making music like I've always just made music.

Even when I started doing YouTube videos, I was just making music because I enjoyed it.

And I still enjoy it.

And, you know, I mean, I I kind of just use music as a way to, um I use it as well.

I use it therapeutic lee, and that's what I use it.

You know, I just use it as I feel like it's quite therapeutic.

Especially if I need to just, you know, rant or event or just say how I feel.

I'm able to just really get my message across, you know, for me through music.

Um, and I feel like that's probably the best way.

Especially just if you're going through something or, you know, something really hard music.

It's just a good way to, you know, let it out.

So, yeah,
