Bryan Cranston, Cody Bellinger, & Chris Harrison Gush Over Clayton Kershaw

What's up, guys? Young Hollywood is back at Dodger Stadium with Clayton Kershaw for his seventh annual Ping-Pong for Purpose charity event, and all the stars have come out to support him. Last year, there were some ringers who brought their own paddles, and when they were told that no no, everyone's going to use the same paddle, they said, "We're not coming." How about that? We're at Dodger Stadium, you need a ping-pong paddle, right?

I do. Is this what they're giving us? Ping-Pong.

No, that's actually the first annual ping-pong tournament. Oh, I see. It'll be about like that. I've interviewed you here before. How's your strategy this year?

Well, I think I have a better partner. JT and I are playing and he is dressed to the nines. He's got his tracksuit on, he's got the shoe. He's dialed in.

Now your partner, who is it? And have you worked it out yet?

I'm with Kershaw, so it's going to be intense. I'm going to go warm up on the tables and hopefully we can get come out here with a win. Last time I I mean, I was horrible. My teammate did not like it. Let me just say that.

My strategy is hope that every hit to me is easy and hope the hard ones go to him. I'm an actor. My like bones are soft and brittle. I've never played sports. Tabletop sports is the closest I've gotten to that, even sometimes like I hurt myself.

Are you ready? What's your strategy?

Aggression. I'm going to just try to blow it by people. It's a lot of competition but you know, even the good ones have off days. We're really paying attention to everybody's just game. You know what I mean, focusing on ours.

My strategy is to just keep the ball on the table, keep it in play, and hope they make the mistake. Um, I got the young fellow rookie that's going to be a rookie for the Lakers, Thornton. I just met him today, so it's going to be interesting if he follows the vet's lead.

I'm really impressed with Ellen. Ellen really spearheaded this, brought his star power to it. The money we raised today will save, literally save the lives of young girls in all and in several different countries. And so you'll be hearing me all night on the microphone chiding people who I know have money and I'm going to try to get it out of their pockets.

There's no two better people in the world than Clayton and Ellen Kershaw. I I am so inspired by what they do with their time, with their money, with their hearts. They just make the world a better place. We're in the middle of the season. This is a massive ordeal for he and his wife to put on, so uh good on him and I will be here anytime to help.

He's such a cool like down-to-earth guy. Easy to talk to, and really like looking out for the community and and uh with his charities and stuff. It's a great turnout. We got pretty much everybody on the team here so that just shows you how much everyone likes Kersh.

When people can come together in all these types of fields that they're in, that says a lot about unity, you know what I mean? So this is kind of something I love to do and I'll always be a part of, so I'm glad to be here. Second guest: For him to take time out of his precious schedule and try to give back to the community like he's doing is awesome.

Dodgers first team to get to 70 wins this season. First to get to 20, 30, 40, 50, and 60. So that begs the question, of first. Now, for you, the first job you've ever had?

Scooping ice cream. At an ice cream parlor in Dallas, Texas.

Guitar teacher as a kid. I was like a I like gave lessons, you know.

I was an umpire in Little League. My first job, I was an umpire for Little League Baseball.

I worked banquet service at Embassy Suites, uh, resort, hotel. Second guest: I think it was like a modeling shoot for like a Halloween costume line. I was like five years old, like dressed up as like a pirate and like, I don't know, a cat, like whatever weird costume they throw on me.

Of course. Yes, she was the love of my life. I mean, I was probably like seven, but it didn't work out.

Field of Dreams. So emotional. Every guy's eyes were wet at the end of that. It was like.

No tears, it's ping-pong time.

I'm going Field of Dreams, Bull Durham, For Love of the Game. We shot at the Field of Dreams for uh Chris' whole season, so I we've been there. I've walked through the corn. It's that what a great idea. That is a genius idea.

Sandlot. The Sandlot. That's a baseball movie, right? Kind of? I'm taking it. I'm taking that win. Second guest: Never seen it, but I've heard it's a good movie. Third guest: Uh being alone in the traveling All-Stars. Yeah, I can't remember the name of it. Fourth guest: Angels in the Outfield. I grew up on that and will still watch it today like I was 10 years old. Fifth guest: Major League, there you go.
