Nick Cannon & Friends Honor Kids at HALO Awards

Hey guys, Barouk here in New York City with the stars on the orange carpet at the Nickelodeon Halo Awards. Now, Halo stands for Helping and Leading Others, and tonight was all about giving back. I love this jacket. you been to the gym, dude?

A little bit, a little bit. I see you working it. A little bit. I'm trying to keep up with you.

What does Nickelodeon mean to you growing up?

Nickelodeon, man. Everything. That's the only thing I watched. All I did was watch SpongeBob. Tonight should be a pretty good night. It's gonna be fun.

What are you most excited about tonight?

Seeing the kids mostly, who are the reason why these awards are happening. It's amazing, honestly, just seeing all these young kids doing such incredible things. Like I was just reading the roster and just going through and it's like so impressive. These kids are like 13 and they're like doing like monumental stuff. The Halo Awards. Things like this are so amazing, it empowers us to be, you know, the next presidents of the United States. So.

Love that.

Well, I like to say just everyone get involved. Take something that you're passionate about and launch your idea off of that, because impact begins with I, it begins with yourself.

You know it's time for the holidays. What does home mean to you?

Home to me directly means family. 100%. I, it sounds cliché, but it's not a place, it's wherever the people who are important to you are.

What are you excited to do with your kids for the holidays?

Man, it's so, first of all, we have such amazing times during the holidays. Thanksgiving, great food, but we are a Christmas family all the way, so we gonna be having everything from Christmas Caroling, decorating trees, we can't wait. It's going down.
