Today, Young Hollywood is inside the Bumble headquarters and I'm about to meet with a fashion icon, Rachel Zoe. I am with the one and only Rachel Zoe in the hive. This is so cool. I kinda wanna move in.
I know. I feel like we need honey.
Well, I know that you often say you're really inspired by the women that are in your life. And I have to say, I've always been so inspired by you.
Oh, you're so sweet.
And another girl, or woman I should say, I really look up to is Whitney Wolfe Herd, founder, CEO of Bumble. She is an epic human. You two together are like the ultimate woman boss pair. I swear.
Oh, she's amazing.
When did you first meet her and how how did you connect with her and then like what inspired you most about her and Bumble?
We just had a lot of mutual friends and when we finally connected, we like we had this like mutual immediate love.
I love that.
And just sort of I just think she's amazing.
Well, your spring collection is so fantastic.
Thank you.
I love the whites. I love the banana leaf palm. I mean, banana leaf palm is everything right now. I love the pant suit. Oh, California.
Thank you.
What is your favorite piece if you could only choose one from the new collection?
This is one of my favorites. This is the Jillian dress. So incredible. So easy. Something you could throw a jean jacket on.
I love how you paired it with this jacket because
Thank you.
So chic. But you can easily wear this with flats and a jean jacket or a leather bomber jacket over it or layer a t-shirt under it and bring it down a notch.
Yeah. All these pieces are so beautiful. Yes, they're so elegant, so chic. This dress has been incredibly successful for us. Um, the hanger, as usual, does it no justice, but but the detail here too. It's so it's it's called soutache um the process of it. It's You can just feel the quality of it. really incredible. I love it. It's really soft. It's really beautiful. It falls like just below the knee, midi cap.
Well, and you're the expert. So, what do you think the biggest styles are going to be for spring, summer this year for like everyday wear?
You know what? I love prints right now. I really do. A lot of people are scared of prints and you shouldn't be. Um, I love a really bold floral.
And I was reading online at the Zoo Report, you guys have a bridal trend guide that's up right now.
The reason that I did it was because season after season, women were getting married in my dresses. And I love white. We talked about that earlier and I love you. And California Boho. I also found that not every woman wants to do a thousand fittings on a dress. Some people just want to go and say, okay, I love this dress. This is what I want to wear. I want to be barefoot on a cliff. I want to I also wanted to be part of the story in the woman's life. I wanted to make a tuxedo. If they want to wear a suit for their second wedding or maybe a more casual wedding.
Or the night before, like a rehearsal dinner.
Right. Or the night before for the brunch, for the lunch, for the whatever. So, I've now launched pieces for the entire weekend, whether you're a guest of the bride, or in the bridal party, or the bride. And so, for fall, I continued on that. I'm kind of baby stepping. And now more and more and more and I love it. We've had such an incredible response to it.
And your Box of Style.
Yes. The idea of this particular box, we called it the California Edition because every brand in this box is a California-based brand. I wanted everyone to kind of get a feeling for what it's like to kind of live here, be here, what you need to be here. And I think whether you're at Coachella or not, I think wearing these things could work in any, no matter the banana palm leaf, um, a little headpiece from Chloe and Isabel, Jennifer Akin.
Oh, so cute. So you can wrap it. You go. I'm Coachella ready. You are. And this could be on your neck. It could tie in your bracelet. Whichever. So cute. So cute. Your matches your outfit. Done and done. Okay. I'm going to put on the sunnies. I love them. I wear them almost every day. And they happen to match. Wait, this needs to be the the main photo of the video. I'm wondering if you can give fans or young people watching a piece of advice that you think is really crucial for all young people to know right now. Some young people are like, oh, I want to be a CEO. I like clothes. There's a lot between here and there. Right. There's a lot that happens between starting and getting to that seat. And I think you have to really go, no matter what you have access to, go the old-fashioned way. Go to what you stand for, be determined, stay determined. Nothing nothing in life worth having is easy. So, work hard for it. Don't give up. Um, live out your dream because ultimately, I do believe that if you love something so deeply, you won't ever give up on it. You won't give up on that dream, but you have to love it. So, when you fall, you're okay to get back up.
