Nanette Lepore's Sexy Swimwear

Hey, Young Hollywood, it's Tracy Bear and we are here at the Four Seasons pool side on this gorgeous sunny day with Manette Lapore.

So you're known for your clothes, but this is your first season doing your bathing suit line.

So what is your inspiration and why now?

Why did you do it now?

The bathing suit line is based on prints and classic, um, prints and colors and patterns of things that we've done in the past, and it's embellished with the same sort of feeling that my clothing is.

It has a slight bit of retro, a little a lot of color, and just really fun.

So I just want to take a look at some of these because this is so cute.

What was your vision for this?

I love mixing prints and patterns, so I love the idea of patch working things, and flowers are like making a big comeback.

All the feminine pieces, things that have been disappeared from your clothing, like flowers and bows and trims are all coming back.

So it's really fun to do swim right now and push it to a place where it's a little more feminine and soft.

Speaking of fashion tips, because those are some good ones, what are your, you know, summer must-haves?

What is it that everybody has to have for this summer?

Well, you have to have a fabulous tote to take to the beach.

And then you have to have a bright, gorgeous Nanette Lepore swimsuit.

And then you need, yes, you need a maxi dress, and a great pair of flat sandals, and you're done.

And now another thing you have, which is so cool.

I just got my nails done in this gorgeous coral color.

I love coral, and I love coral jewelry, and I love just coral and it's really fresh and summery, and I think it's like a way to do pink without being really pink.

It's an edgier pink.

Royal wedding was something that, I mean, almost the entire world obviously watched it.

What did you think of the fashion, because the hats were the number one Oh, my. topic of the town.

Everyone's hat was just crazy.

You know, it was the wedding of crazy hats.

And you wonder, is this, what is, what's going on?

You think it's just an English thing?

Apparently that's, it's a wedding.

Get the mad hatter to make your hat.

I don't know.

It was really funny.

Would you design any hats similar to that?

Uh, I don't think I would, and I don't think I would wear any of those hats either.

But the the dress itself was beautiful.

It was very austere, which I think was a little, you know, they it wasn't too fluffy.

I I would have preferred a lot of tulle.

But you thought she was better just a classic, you know, beautiful bride, rather than princess and too much.

No, yeah, she was fine.

She won't look back and be like, oh my god, I wore that.

Beautiful and simple and elegant.

So what's the, what's the drink?

It's a martini with strawberry puree and basil salt.

And it's really delicious.
