The 5 Most Swoonworthy Moments From 'To All The Boys: Always and Forever'!

Written by Morgan Glicksman. Published: February 22 2021

The third and final installment of the To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before movie franchise, To All The Boys: Always and Forever, hit Netflix last week and we just can’t get over it. It’s almost impossible for movies to be better than the book and it’s even more rare for every sequel to be better than the previous one. We don’t know how they did it, but the To All The Boys series accomplished all that and more. We fell in love with Lara Jean Covey (Lana Condor) and Peter Kavinsky (Noah Centineo) not once, not twice, but three times. This last movie was bittersweet because we had to say goodbye to their love story forever, but it was so good, we can’t even be mad about it. And what do we do when we love a movie so much? Obviously, we make a list of our favorite moments to remember it by!

1. The Rom-Com Recreation

Since the entire series was basically about LJ getting her rom-com ending, it’s only right that they included an homage to the most iconic rom-com moment of all time. When Peter shows up to Lara Jean’s house and recreates the moment from Say Anything... when John Cusack holds up a boombox outside the window, all our rom-com dreams came true.

2. Dr. Covey’s Proposal to Trina

Now, I know the movie is all about Peter and Lara Jean, but this list would just not be complete if Lara Jean’s dad, Dr. Covey (John Corbett), didn’t get his own moment. We’ve been rooting for him to get his happy ending since the series started. The moment Lara Jean sees her dad proposing from across the street really could not have been written any better.

3. Young Lara Jean and Peter

We had to put this moment on the list because we finally got to see Lara Jean and Peter’s long awaited “meet-cute” (as she calls it). I mean, how adorable are young LJ and Peter? Not only does he rescue her, but that look he gives her at the end could’ve actually melted our hearts.

4. Their Relationship Montage

This movie had some pretty great montages. But the best one is the one we knew was coming all along— the final montage of their cutest moments. It was so sweet (we may or may not have shed a happy tear or two), it made us want to rewatch the whole series all over again. Oh, and the yearbook love letter on top of all that, it’s going to be hard to convince us that this wasn’t one of the cutest movie moments ever. They even finished with the thing that started it all—another contract! If you couldn’t already tell, we love a full circle moment.

5. THAT ENDING!

They wrapped up the whole series so perfectly and the ending was literally everything we could have asked for. We got to see the gang graduate and we even got to see Lara Jean all grown up in her college dorm. (Can we just say, that new haircut is everything!)

We can’t wait to see what’s next for Noah Centineo and Lana Condor!
