When a certain trend begins to gain traction, users "jump on it" by recreating a popular video or theme that is currently trending on TikTok. Even how you edit your pictures or videos can eventually become "the next big trend" in the internet world. You might view a video you take and post on your TikTok account as "just something to upload", like a night out in town with your girlfriends type of thing, but to others, it's something more than just that. It's something they can imitate, especially if it's aesthetically pleasing.

For example, take the newest it-girl trend called "Night Luxe". You've probably seen this popular aesthetic if you've recently opened any social media app -- A “glittery” yet dark "glamour pic" of a girl draped in a luxury designer gown, standing in front of a high-rise building, sipping on some expensive champagne at an even more expensive restaurant. Now, you might be wondering, what in the "rich" are you watching? Well, we're here to answer that question for you. This blinged-out, it-girl vibe is all about how Night meets Luxe.

"Night Luxe" is simply influenced by the glamor and glitz of the Roaring '20s, the party all night lifestyles. Overall, the vibe has the same color scheme as the original Instagram baddie aesthetic. After the sun goes down, Night Luxe is all about living your best life and treating yourself to a few luxurious indulgences here and there in some glittery heels.

According to @thedigifairy, in some ways, Luxe is a rejection of the "that girl lifestyle", and as seen in "Euphoria", this kind of self-care has recently been presented as more toxic. Luxe emphasizes partying late evenings and over-consuming decadent meals and cocktails rather than things like 5:00AM alarms, kale green juice, and other healthy habits. But I'm afraid I have to disagree. The "Night Luxe" isn't bad; it promotes a "work hard, play hard" lifestyle. You get the weekends to indulge in some of the finest wines and champagnes, eat at upscale restaurants with your girlfriends or significant other, and take videos and pictures to capture the moment that will last for a lifetime.

So, now that you know what the "Night Luxe" TikTok trend is, do you see yourself recreating this glamourous aesthetic?
