It’s time! It’s the week that Season 3 of "Outer Banks" is finally premiering! So many unanswered questions that we need are hoping to get, but here’s everything that will prepare you for the season premiere!
The much-anticipated Season 3 of Outer Banks is officially premiering this Thursday, February 23, on Netflix. This season was announced in December of 2021 and wrapped filming in August 2022. Netflix will release all 10 episodes all at once -- no “to be continued" here! It starts off with an episode called “Poguelandia”, which also happens to be the name of an event that took place over the weekend in Huntington Beach, CA, where the cast officially announced that the show has been renewed for a 4th season!
SEASON 2'S ENDING
Now, how did the last season end again? Well, Cleo, who they met in the Bahamas, became a Pogue. And yes, somehow Ward Cameron IS alive. After escaping the Cameron family, the Pogues landed on a random island. However, back in the Outer Banks, every family was searching frantically for their kids. But, the most important part -- the final moment of Season 2 revealed John B’s dad! Something we definitely would’ve never expected.
The original cast from the first season are expected to return -- Chase Stokes as John B Routledge, Madelyn Cline as Sarah Cameron, Madison Bailey as Kiara Carrera, Jonathan "J.D" Daviss as Pope Heyward, and Rudy Pankow as JJ Maybank. Carlacia Grant is also returning as Cleo with an promotion from recurring role to series regular!
The Pogues gathered on the sandy carpet at the Regency Village Theater last week for the season premiere. Cline showed up in a sparkly blue dress with a straight bob hair cut, Stokes came in an all black outfit with a deep v-neck to show off his chest, Bailey wore a black mesh dress with metallic green accents and a slicked bun, Carrea stunned in a red/orange dress with lots of tulle and a tied her hair up in a messy bun, Daviss came in a black blazer and pants with a white shirt and a blinged out chain, and Pankow showed up in similar attire but with a dark brown metallic blazer and pants.
