Hello, you.

If you’re anything like us, you’ve been anxiously awaiting any and all news regarding Season 4 of Netflix’s hit show, "You". Lucky for us, Netflix released the first look at the new season this past weekend, dropping a teaser trailer that introduces us to a completely new version of Joe, as well as some other new cast members!

The teaser trailer opens with the signature greeting from resident stalker himself, Joe Goldberg (Penn Badgley). However, this time he’s introduced as “Professor Jonathan Moore”, living and teaching abroad in the city of London, all while attempting to avoid his self-proclaimed “extra-curriculars” of the past. But, as the teaser continues and new characters are introduced, Joe’s narration gets exceedingly darker, warning that the new people entering his life are at risk of falling — but really, being pushed — down the “social ladder” that comes with his new, prestigious career. So, it’s safe to say viewers can expect Joe to regress back into his old ways.

Given that Season 3 ended with Joe Goldberg narrowly escaping Love’s attempt at his life, setting his home ablaze and successfully framing Love for his own “murder”, along with the rest of the killings that took place over their time in Madre Linda, and with his son Henry being taken in by Dante and Lansing, there were really no plot questions leftover from last season aside from whether or not Joe will be able to track down Marienne. And, as revealed in the teaser, Tati Gabrielle is back to play Marienne in Season 4!

In addition to Badgley and Gabrielle, Charlotte Ritchie (BBC's "Ghosts") joins the cast as Kate, Lukas Gage ("Euphoria") as Adam, Amy-Leigh Hickman as Nadia, Ed Speleers ("Downton Abbey") as Rhys, Tilly Keeper as Lady Phoebe, Aidan Cheng as Simon, Niccy Lin as Sophie, Ozioma Whenu as Blessing, Eve Austin as Gemma, and Dario Coates as Connie. And tbh, we fear for the fate of ALL of these new characters!

As to when we can expect the new season, showrunner Sera Gamble shared the show’s Season 4 poster on Instagram, revealing that the new season will be released in two parts! Part 1 will premiere February 10, 2023, and part 2 will follow March 10, 2023!

Make sure to catch up on all the craziness that went down in Season 3 before the new season drops in early 2023!
