Everyone Loves Seth Rogen's 'Good Boys'!

Seth Rogen’s latest comedy, Good Boys, stole the show its opening weekend, raking in an impressive -- some would say unexpected -- $21 million at the box office.

Good Boys is a raunchy comedy starring SAG Award nominee Jacob Tremblay (Room), Keith L. Williams ("The Last Man on Earth"), and Brady Noon ("Boardwalk Empire") as Max, Lucas, and Thor, a trio of bffs in the 7nth grade. The movie revolves around the 3 boys trying to replace a drone after theirs was broken while spying on a neighbor in their attempts to learn how to kiss, in preparation for their first kissing party.

Together, the boys decide to ditch school for the day, resulting in an unforgettable experience which may or may not include them accidentally coming into the possession of stolen drugs, being targeted by teenage girls, and finding some questionable things on the Internet.

With a critic’s score of 78% and an audience score of 88% on Rotten Tomatoes, Good Boys has movie-goers flocking to the theaters and laughing for the duration of the 90-minute film.

What makes the movie so successful is the fact that it has the same feel as Seth Rogen’s popular comedies from the past, such as Superbad, Pineapple Express, and Sausage Party, except with 12-year-old boys. The fact that the lead actors in the movie are not allowed to see their own movie in theaters makes the events that take place all the more hilarious and cute. All the jokes are filtered through the innocence and naiveté of 12-year-old boys and the way they view the world.

The movie perfectly captures what it is like to be a tween boy. Confused by the adult world but too embarrassed to ask questions, the boys go out on their own to find their answers, which of course opens the door for a lot of comedic moments.

Good Boys also features Molly Gordon, Will Forte, and Retta.
