Mark Ronson's hit Uptown Funk has become the fifth best-selling single in U.K. chart history.
The song, which features Bruno Mars, was released in November (14) and topped the charts in several countries around the world, and it remained in peak position on the U.K. charts for seven weeks.
It has now achieved more than two million sales in the U.K.,
surpassing the previous number five song, 1977 hit Mull of Kintyre
by Paul McCartney's band Wings.
Sir Elton John's Candle in the Wind is number one on the bestseller
chart, followed by Band Aid's Do They Know It's Christmas?,
Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen, and Pharrell Williams' Happy.
