Taylor Swift accompanies cancer sufferer on Adele hit

Taylor Swift's reputation as a living saint among her fans has been given another boost after video of her performing Adele's Someone Like You with a 20-year-old patient went viral on Wednesday (01Oct14).

The singer paid a surprise visit to leukemia sufferer Ben, who was awaiting a bone marrow transplant from his brother, at Boston Children's Hospital back in August (14).

He was learning to play Adele's hit on the piano and when she spotted a keyboard in his room, Swift asked him to accompany her in a rendition of the tune.

Ben, who is now in recovery after the transplant, posted the video on YouTube.com and now it has become a viral hit.

He says, "This was the most amazing moment in my life being able to accompany Taylor Swift."
