Leonardo DiCaprio has quit director Danny Boyle's new Steve Jobs biopic.
The movie star was the frontrunner to portray the late Apple Computer co-founder in the film adaptation of Walter Isaacson's bestselling biography, but he has bowed out of the project to make The Revenant instead.
Christian Bale now leads the producers' wish list to portray Jobs,
ahead of Matt Damon and Bradley Cooper, according to The Hollywood
Reporter.
DiCaprio and Boyle previously worked together on The Beach.
Ashton Kutcher previously portrayed Jobs in the critically-mauled
2013 film Jobs.
