T.I. hands out Christmas gifts at children's hospital

T.I. donned a Santa hat this week (beg09Dec12) to hand out Christmas gifts to sick children at a kids' hospital in Detroit, Michigan.

The hip-hop star spent Wednesday (12Dec12) at The DMC Children's Hospital of Michigan's Specialty Center meeting patients and their families, posing for pictures and giving out presents.

T.I. wore a Santa hat as he spread festive cheer, and he spoke about his deep feelings for the city of Detroit: "I appreciate the love for the city (sic), man, I can't even lie about that man, you know. This was one of the first places I could come and get paid to perform... I thank the (people of Detroit) for that. You brought me all my money in paper bags and it was folded up nicely and I really appreciated it."
