Sting's daughter to front Armani Exchange's Fall campaign
Sting's model daughter Eliot Sumner will be among the stars of Armani Exchange's Fall 2016 Campaign.
The 25-year-old beauty, who was born in Italy, will join fellow model Shlomit Malka and photographer Jay Alvarrez in the brand's new ads, which were shot in New York City by Riccardo Vimercati.
Sporting tailored navy trousers and a white shirt beneath a black
coat in one new preview shot, Sumner tells InStyle magazine,
"Working with Armani has been a great experience. I love working
with fellow Italians!"
Eliot is making 2016 a very special year - she released her second
album, titled Information, in the spring, and late last year (15),
she 'came out' about her sexuality, revealing she was a
lesbian.
In an interview with Britain's ES magazine, she explained she and
Austrian model Lucie Von Alten had been lovers for two years.
Eliot told the publication she never felt the need to discuss her
sexual preference with her famous family because "no one had ever
asked".
"They knew already, so I didn't need to (come out)," she said.
"I've never come out to anyone. My friends always knew and I always
knew."
The singer and model, whose mother is Trudie Styler, went on to
explain that she does not identify with a particular gender,
adding, "I don't believe in any specifications... I think forever I
was trying to figure out maybe... what I am. But I don't think
anyone should feel pressured to have any kind of label or tag on
them. We should treat everybody the same."
