Shia LaBeouf's neighbours win wall battle

Shia Labeouf's neighbours have won a legal battle to keep a seven-foot high wall, built to keep prying paparazzi off their property.

Officials at Los Angeles City Council have voted not to order Joe and Orit Picker to destroy the wall they built without proper permission, despite complaints from Sherman Oaks, California locals.

LaBeouf was among the neighbours who gave the couple the thumbs-up to build the wall on their property after they complained that Hollywood paparazzi had repeatedly trespassed on their land while trying to take snaps of the Transformers star.

Councilman Paul Koretz fought for the Pickers against zoning officials, stating photographers often entered the Pickers' property to get shots of the movie star on his patio.
