Selena Gomez visits children's hospital

Selena Gomez paid a surprise visit to sick youngsters at a medical facility on Wednesday (08Oct14).

The Come and Get It hitmaker headed to the Children's Hospital Los Angeles to spend time with the young patients, listened to their stories and gave them all hugs.

A spokesperson for the facility says, "It was a much-needed lift for these children and their families during an incredibly difficult time... We are so grateful for genuine kindness and compassion for our patients, families and the staff who care for them."

Gomez also uploaded two snaps to Instagram.com showing her catching up with the patients.
