Ricky Wilson punched on TV

Kaiser Chiefs frontman Ricky Wilson needed medical attention on the set of The Voice Uk after a contestant accidentally punched him in the face.

The rocker, who is a judge on the talent show, was injured by overzealous hopeful Stevie McCrorie when he threw his arms up in the air in celebration and unwittingly hit his mentor, who exclaimed, "You nearly knocked my nose off!"

A medic was on hand to treat the star and Wilson was later cleared to continue filming.
