Probe launched over police officer's Ray J snaps
An internal affairs investigation has reportedly been launched by the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) over pictures appearing to show two cops posing with Ray J after his car was pulled over.
The R&B star is said to have been driving through the San Fernando Valley in California recently when his car was stopped by officers who suspected the singer of texting while behind the wheel.
Ray J tells TMZ.com the pair let him off with a warning after he
insisted he was not using his cell phone, but then asked him to
pose for pictures with them.
The snaps have been published on the website, and editors report
chiefs at the LAPD have now launched an internal affairs
investigation. The report suggests it is against policy for
officers to pose for pictures with a suspect during a traffic
stop.
