Paloma Faith auditioned for Madonna film

British singer Paloma Faith once auditioned to star in a film based around pop legend Madonna.

The Picking Up The Pieces hitmaker is a longtime admirer of the superstar, and reveals she even auditioned for a part as a super-fan.

She tells British newspaper the Daily Star, "I was a big fan of Madonna growing up and I used to dress up as her at fancy dress parties... I once auditioned for a film to play somebody that was a Madonna fan who dressed up as her every day."
