Nick Carter apologizes after bar brawl arrest
Nick Carter has apologized to his fans on Twitter.com following his arrest earlier this month (Jan16) for allegedly fighting outside a bar in Florida.
The Backstreet Boys star was booked by Monroe County Sheriff's Office on 13 January (16) after a brawl broke out outside the Hog's Breath Saloon in Key West.
"I am human and at times it can be a struggle to balance a healthy
lifestyle. I'm not perfect and for that I am sorry," Carter wrote
in a post on the social media site on Saturday (23Jan16).
Reports suggest the singer and a friend allegedly became embroiled
in a bust-up with security guards outside the bar after they were
asked to leave the venue.
Carter was released the day after his arrest (14Jan16), and
appeared in court on to face a charge of misdemeanor battery.
Outside the court, he told reporters that "The truth will come
out".
"I'm just a guy trying to enjoy some vacation time in Key West. The
truth will come out," he announced.
