Muse are in talks to take over a local council in their hometown for 24 hours.
Matt Bellamy and his bandmates have met with leaders at Teignbridge council in their native Devon, England over the possibility of taking over for a day in a bid to engage younger voters.
Council leader Jeremy Christophers says, "We're still in talks to
get things sorted. It's vital for the council to engage with
younger generation.
"Muse have been busy on tour promoting their album The 2nd Law. The
album has songs about global warming and sustainable living, which
are important issues."
