Mick Fleetwood falls ill at Fleetwood Mac gig

Fleetwood Mac cut short a gig in Nebraska on Saturday night (17Jan15) after drummer Mick Fleetwood fell ill.

Singer Stevie Nicks told the Pinnacle Bank Arena crowd in Lincoln that her bandmate was being violently sick backstage and the group would have to say goodnight a little earlier than expected.

Fleetwood's drum technician sat in for the rocker on the band's Go Your Own Way and then Christine McVie performed a drum-free version of Songbird with guitarist Lindsey Buckingham.

The drummer is expected to be behind the kit again for Fleetwood Mac's next scheduled show in Grand Rapids, Michigan, on Tuesday (20Jan15).
