Lindsay Lohan fan to stand trial for harassment
A Lindsay Lohan fan has been deemed fit to stand trial following allegations he has been harassing the star.
The Mean Girls actress was allegedly bombarded with more than 1,000 texts and social media messages from Daniel Vorderwulbecke while she was appearing in a production of David Mamet's Speed-the-Plow in London from September to November (14).
Vorderwulbecke was detained by police on suspicion of harassment,
criminal damage and assault in October (14).
He was released on bail to a specialist mental health hospital
where he underwent testing to determine whether he is fit to stand
trial, and a judge has now given the case the go-ahead.
Lohan is expected to give evidence at Vorderwulbecke's trial on 28
May (15). He denies the allegations.
