Lianne La Havas eyeing restaurant venture
Written by . Published: April 11 2013
Lianne La Havas dreams of opening her own restaurant in her native London.
The Mercury Prize nominee enjoys serving up tasty treats incorporating the food of her childhood growing up with a Greek father and Jamaican mother, and she is keen to turn her passion for the culinary arts into a business.
She tells WENN, "I'm very ambitious... I love food and I love to
cook so I am very interested in the restaurant industry and the
food business... so maybe one day in the future there would be a
restaurant, owned by me, run by me, or me and a friend... probably
in London. London is very suitable for that kind of thing (mixing
ethnic food and cultures)."
