And when the 29-year-old was quizzed her about her reported new
beau in New York on Monday night (16May16), Lea struggled to keep
her new romance under wraps.
"You know, I'm just feeling really great right now and super
happy," she said coyly. "I feel very, very, very lucky and grateful
in my life right now and that's all that matters."
Despite not naming Robert, Lea's subsequent blushes at the line of
questioning spoke volumes, and when an Entertainment Tonight
reporter pointed this out, Lea tried to blame it on her
make-up.
"I don't know," she said. "It's just really good bronzer."
The star's alleged new relationship comes just three months after
she broke up with former boyfriend Matthew Paetz in February (16),
after two years together, but it appears Lea's past failed romances
haven't put her off falling in love.
According to an eyewitness who saw the brunette beauty with Robert
last week, the relationship is already gathering pace.
"They were sitting at the bar all cuddly," the insider told Us
Weekly. "He pushed her chair in for her and everything. They were
interlocked the whole time they were sitting at the counter, like
arms wrapped around each other at their seats and rubbing each
other’s backs. At one point they had either just kissed or were
super close talking."
Lea previously dated her Glee co-star Cory Monteith, who passed
away in July, 2013 following an accidental drug overdose.
