Kirsten Dunst splits from boyfriend Garrett Hedlund - report
Kirsten Dunst and Garrett Hedlund have reportedly split after four years together.
Multiple sources tell Us Weekly the couple has called it quits.
The actress and fellow movie star Hedlund met on the set of the
film adaptation for Jack Kerouac's On the Road in 2011, and in an
interview published just last month (Mar16), Dunst spoke of how
strong their relationship was.
"I feel like we're good at doing our own thing but also at coming
together," she told Britain's InStyle magazine of her partnership
with Hedlund. "In other relationships... Just we were too enmeshed.
We had to do everything together.
"I see reflected in him (Hedlund) what I see in myself a
sensitivity and someone who's family-oriented. Look. All I can say
is it's my longest relationship, so it's working, right?"
In the feature, Dunst even suggested she might be walking down the
aisle with Hedlund soon.
"I am someone who wants to get married... If it happens in my
mid-to-late 30s, it's going to be intimate," she smiled.
"Courthouse, dinner party and DJ with friends and family. I'll
treat it like it would be my fortieth birthday."
Anyone interested in dating newly-single Dunst, who previously
romanced Jake Gyllenhaal and rocker Johnny Borrell, should brush up
on their manners.
"I appreciate old-fashioned manners," she told Net-A-Porter's The
Edit. "I want a guy to pay for dinner and open the door for me. I
love the masculine."
Representatives for Dunst and Pan star Hedlund have yet to comment
on the break-up news.
