Kimberly Wyatt mending relationship with parents
Former Pussycat Dolls star Kimberly Wyatt has reconciled with her parents after they refused to believe her when she told them she was abused as a child.
The singer/dancer left home when she was just 14 to train as a dancer in New York after her parents struggled to accept that she was molested.
Wyatt admits their refusal to talk about the sexual abuse was
devastating, but she is trying to make peace and let them into her
life again.
She tells Britain's The Sun, "I've grown from it. Me and my parents
have started a new relationship. I'll never have a relationship
with my parents like other people but I've come to terms with it
and I'm quite OK with it.
"I was at my brother's wedding a while ago and everything was
cordial - but it took a long time to come to terms with it."
