Kim Kardashian planning beauty blogger competition show

Kim Kardashian is combining her love of reality TV and beauty for a new competition series.

The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star has found huge success with her family series, which is currently in its 12th season, and she and her sisters Kourtney and Khloe frequently share their favourite make-up products with fans on their blogs.

Now Kim is set to step behind the camera to serve as an executive producer on a brand new project about beauty bloggers, from the team of producers behind another reality hit, The Real Housewives of New York, reports PopSugar.

A casting call has been posted online for the as-yet-untitled series, which will air on "a major network", according to the ad.

The notice reads: "Executive producer Kim Kardashian West, the most influential style icon on the planet, is searching for America's next superstar beauty blogger!"

The post goes on to reveal producers are "looking for the most trendsetting Beauty Bloggers for a cutting-edge competition reality series".

The winner of the show will land a job with the Kardashian clan, serving as the "Beauty Director for Kardashian Apps".

"Imagine creating exclusive content and tutorials for Khloe, Kourtney, and Kim to be shared with millions on their beauty and lifestyle apps!" the casting call continues.

Kim has yet to officially announce her involvement, and it's not yet clear if she will also appear onscreen as a host or judge, but her association has already sparked intense interest online.

A source tells wwd.com, "We have got a huge response from bloggers. Everyone wants to be a part of the Kardashian empire. The chance to have a career with the biggest names in fashion and beauty is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity and even the biggest beauty bloggers in the country know that."
