Kate Hudson loves to make up friends

Actress Kate Hudson ensures her pals look picture perfect when they accompany her to Hollywood parties by applying their make-up herself.

The Almost Famous star loves experimenting with different beauty looks and practices her cosmetics skills by roping in her loved ones.

She tells People.com, "I love putting make-up on friends. I do it all the time. If I'm bringing them to a premiere, or we're having a party, they'll all come over early and I'll do their makeup. I love it."

Hudson reveals she honed her talent as a youngster by using her sibling Oliver as a model: "My poor brother. He was kind enough to be my mannequin, and let me experiment on his face. I'd put blue eye shadow on him and we'd laugh."
