Justin Bieber's grandmother visits him in Scotland
Justin Bieber had a very special guest join him for the Scottish leg of his Purpose World Tour - his grandmother.
The pop superstar is currently performing for fans in the U.K. and Ireland, and while he is known for his love of partying on the road, things were a little more subdued when the trek hit Glasgow.
Bieber played three gigs at the SSE Hydro venue from 27 to 30
October (16), and his mother Pattie Mallette's mom, Diane Dale, was
with him throughout.
According to People.com, Diane stayed with the 22-year-old at his
rented accommodation in Perthshire, and she was spotted touring the
grounds of the luxury 17th century estate Kinross House over the
weekend (28-30Oct16).
Diane's visit came just days after Justin snapped at fans attending
his concerts in Birmingham and Manchester, England last month
(Oct16) and demanded they stop screaming. He even appeared to
momentarily storm offstage during his Manchester gig on 23 October
(16) after the crowd ignored his pleas to be quiet and let him
speak.
His grandma's presence appeared to have a good influence on Bieber
as he shunned the local nightlife while in Glasgow and instead
opted for a low-key drink at one of the city's cocktail bars over
the weekend, before stopping at a fish and chip shop to try out
some local fare, the traditional deep fried haggis.
He also took to Instagram on Saturday (29Oct16) and shared a letter
to his fans, explaining why he had previously lost his temper
onstage.
"There's going to be times where I say the wrong thing, because I'm
human...," he wrote. "There's times when I get upset... times when
I get angry, there's times when I'm going to be frustrated. But I'm
always going to be myself on this stage."
Bieber's U.K. tour continues in Dublin, Ireland on Wednesday night
(02Nov16), before heading to Vienna, Austria next Tuesday
(08Nov16).
