Beyonce to perform at the CMA Awards - report
Beyonce will perform at the 50th annual CMA Awards on Wednesday night (02Nov16), according to multiple sources.
Mystery surrounds what the R&B superstar will perform onstage at the Nashville, Tennessee ceremony, but Beyonce did win a few country music fans by recording Daddy Lessons for her latest album Lemonade.
The song, about a woman's relationship with her dad, has been
covered live by the Dixie Chicks on their 2016 tour.
The trio is not among the performers on the bill at the CMAs, so
fans shouldn't expect a collaboration.
George Strait, Chris Stapleton, Randy Travis, Jason Aldean, Miranda
Lambert, Dierks Bentley, Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood, Brooks &
Dunn, Luke Bryan, Eric Church, and Keith Urban are among the acts
lined up to perform at the ceremony, which will be co-hosted by
Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood.
