Justin Bieber avoids YouTube over negative comments

Pop star Justin Bieber refuses to read comments about his videos on YouTube.com because negative remarks make him feel "sad".

The singer's track Baby became the first-ever promo to pass 800 million views on the website last year (12), but Bieber reveals he hates seeing users' views on his work, and much prefers logging on to microblogging site Twitter.com to interact with his fans.

He tells Teen Vogue magazine, "My Twitter is really nice. I have so many fans that I rarely ever see a nasty tweet. I don't read YouTube comments because those can get you sad.

"I see so much stuff on the Internet, sometimes I just want to go to Twitter and just go after people. But then I just think twice: If someone is dissing me, I'm going to make this person way more famous by tweeting them."
