Josh Gracin loses music rights in divorce
Troubled country singer Josh Gracin has finalized his divorce and handed over half of his music rights to his former wife.
The former American Idol star has been embroiled in a bitter battle with his ex-partner Ann Gracin since their split last year (14), which became public after he posted a letter aimed at his wife online, hinting at his plans for a suicide attempt.
He was later hospitalized and placed on a psychiatric hold, and Ann
filed for divorce a month later (Sep14).
It has now emerged that the former couple has finalized the
divorce, with Gracin agreeing to hand over 50 per cent of music
rights to 24 of his songs, as well as more than $3,000 in alimony
and child support, according to TMZ.com.
The website also reports they will share custody of their four
kids, but the former spouses will be kept apart by restraining
orders they filed against each other during the legal battle.
