Jessica Simpson hosts baby shower for sister Ashlee

Jessica Simpson turned baby shower host on Sunday (07Jun15) to celebrate as her sister Ashlee prepares to become a mother for a second time.

Ashlee Simpson is expecting her first child with new husband Evan Ross and the mom-to-be was surrounded by her closest friends and family members as they marked the occasion with a party at her older sister's Los Angeles home.

A source tells People.com, "It was beautiful weather and her house was the perfect setting... so gorgeous.

"It was very chill and almost like just a get-together than a traditional shower. It wasn't focused on games (and was) more like a big party."

Ashlee, 30, wed Diana Ross' actor/singer son last August (14).

She is also mom to six-year-old boy Bronx Mowgli, with her ex-husband Pete Wentz, who she divorced in 2011.
