Ireland Baldwin has appendicitis

Alec Baldwin and Kim Basinger's daughter Ireland is receiving treatment at a hospital in Los Angeles for appendicitis.

The model checked herself into Cedars-Sinai Medical Center on Thursday night (02Apr15) after complaining of severe stomach pains, and it has now been confirmed she has appendicitis.

Baldwin appears to be recovering after taking to Twitter.com to joke about the situation, uploading a photograph of herself in a wheelchair alongside the caption, "appendicitis swag thanks for all of your concern."
