Investigation launched over Winehouse file mishap
Police in the U.K. have launched an investigation after a confidential report into the death of Amy Winehouse was accidentally sent to a member of the public.
The film, which reportedly outlined the circumstances surrounding the singer's death in July (11), was supposed to have been sent to the Rehab star's family, but was wrongly delivered to a stranger instead.
The unnamed member of the public handed the report in to a police
station in north London and cops are now looking into how the
mix-up happened.
A spokesman for Scotland Yard tells Britain's Sunday Mirror
newspaper, "Police were informed that material relating to a
forthcoming inquest may have been delivered to an incorrect
address. The material has since been handed in. An inquiry is under
way to establish the full circumstances."
