Harry Styles tips staff with rare currency

One Direction heartthrob Harry Styles is leading a bizarre new trend of tipping with a rare form of currency.

The What Makes You Beautiful singer has begun giving $2 bills as a gratuity, and he has brought a wad of the special dollars back to his native U.K. to hand out.

He explains, "There's a guy we see in L.A. who always hands me a roll of $2 bills. They are really handy for tipping so I'm bringing the tradition home."

According to The Sun, Styles brought the $2 bills to One Direction's afterparty following the premiere of their new movie 1D: This Is Us in London on Tuesday (20Aug13).
