Julianna Margulies' management battle heading to trial
Actress Julianna Margulies' legal battle with her former management team is heading to trial in Los Angeles next year (14).
The former ER star is locked in a legal dispute with bosses at D/F Management, who claim they are owed $420,000 in back payments for their alleged involvement in landing her roles on The Good Wife and as a spokesmodel for cosmetics brand L'Oreal.
Margulies fired back at the agents, who represented her from 2009
until 2011, in a suit last October (12), claiming her ex-manager
Steve Dontanville failed to present her with a written document of
his firm's agreement.
A judge has denied Margulies' motion to have the issue settled in a
summary judgement and has now set a trial date for 8 January (14)
in Los Angeles.
D/F Management's lawyers are now seeking more money after The Good
Wife was sold into syndication.
